Photoelectric radial-velocity measurements for HD 118234 are presented for the 1971-1987 period. The results suggest that HD 118234 is a spectroscopic binary in a very eccentric 59-day orbit. Although the 59-day period is quite short for a giant star, the widths of the dips on the radial-velocity traces do not imply that HD 118234 has an unusually rapid rotation.
