To circumvent the large errors in column density which result when attempting to measure interstellar absorption lines with IUE, abundances toward many stars were analyzed collectively. A technique for interpreting large ensembles of moderately saturated lines can be applied to many lines of sight to various collections of stars. Such results are useful for deriving global conclusions on the nature of the interstellar medium in different contexts.
