We present the results of the analysis of a sample of northern dwarf and low surface brightness (LSB) galaxies, with complete redshift information, and its comparison to bright galaxies from the CfA1 survey through the scaling formalism. We have constructed volume-limited samples of dwarf-LSB and CfA1 galaxies which occupy the same volumes. The scaling formalism allows a separate analysis of regions with different density ranges. The null hypothesis that dwarf-LSB and CfA1 galaxies trace the same underlying density field can be ruled out at a 95% confidence level for areas of high to low density, with dwarf-LSB galaxies more homogeneously distributed than CfA1 galaxies. The clustering differences are not statistically significative in the region of the Local Supercluster, presumibly due to a higher degree of contamination by peculiar velocities in the redshifts of nearby CfA1 galaxies. These results are stable against changes in the absolute magnitude limit of bright galaxies, the intrinsic diameters of dwarf-LSB galaxies or the morphological type of CfA1 galaxies.
