We report observational results from near infrared slit scanning of 16 southern pre-main sequence multiple sources. For each system, we derive the angular separation and the magnitude difference in the J, H, K and in most cases L bands. Two systems (Sz 30 and LkHα 346) are found to be triple and four (Herschel 4636, LkHα 346, RNO 92 and VV CrA) exhibit a flux inversion among the components between 0.55 and 3.61 μm, that is, the secondary as defined in the visual begins to dominate the system light at infrared wavelengths.
