The data from the chlorine solar neutrino experiment at the Homestake Gold Mine are analyzed in search of periodic variations in flux in the range from 1.0 to 3.4 y. An application of a modified superposed epoch method and Fourier spectrum analysis gives evidence for the presence of a periodic variation on a time scale of 2.0 to 2.1 y. It is also shown that the Monte-Carlo simulated data, when processed in the same way, do not indicate a similar significant variation.
