Clumps 1 & 2 are giant molecular clouds of unusually large line-width associated with the bar of the Milky Way and are located just a few degrees away from the Galactic Center. We present fully-sampled maps in CO(7-6), CO(4-3) and [CI](3P1-3P0) with a velocity resolution of 0.6 km/s, a spatial resolution of 1--2', and an area of one square degree, requiring over 10,000 spectra in each transition. These maps are the only data of their kind, showing mid-J CO and atomic carbon transitions for these unusual clouds. The data shows the tidally shocked nature of the gas as it interacts with the bar-shaped gravitational potential of the Milky Way.
