Laboratory emission spectra of simple PAH molecules naphthalene, pyrene
and chrysene are compared with the astronomical spectra of the
unidentified 21 mu m emission feature. The correlation of the presence
of this feature with other PAH features in carbon-rich post-AGB stars
suggests that this feature is related to PAH molecules.
