Our extremely deep maps of the Bootes Field at 352 MHz and 1.4 GHz enable us to use spectral index selection and radio morphology to detect Compact Ultra-Steep Spectrum sources. This population is dominated by faint, distant galaxies, some of which are undoubtedly undergoing extreme starbursts. The results to date on the hosts of these sources, as imaged in the optical and IR by the NDWFS team, and from our own Keck imaging to be completed in April 2004, will be presented, and the potential for follow-up observations discussed. The complementary radio, NDWFS, and Keck data have the potential to enable us to study "normal" radio galaxies even at z > 5, an epoch where, until now, primarily the most extreme AGN have been investigated. We also preferentially select young, heavily obscured systems, and extremely luminous sources at very high redshift.
