Because of their faintness, the delta and phi triplet systems of the ZrO in the ultraviolet, discovered in 1949, have not only escaped further analytic effort but have also escaped cataloging by spectroscopists, hampering astrophysicists from identifying them in the stellar spectra. Using the more recently worked out predictions of the existence of certain energy levels well above the hitherto analyzed systems, arguments are developed to assign these as yet unanalyzed systems to these predicted energy levels. Other spectroscopists' observations are also emphasized to rectify doubts about these faint and incompletely recorded systems belonging to ZrO.
