Residual interactions between neutrinos and electrons that have different temperatures after decoupling are shown to result in an appreciable spectral distortion of the order of 1 percent at the higher-energy side of the distribution when the temperature drops to below 1 MeV. However, the resulting modification in the He abundance is small, only of the order of 1.3 x 10 exp -4.
