The pipeline implementation of the temperature-dependent dark correction, previously only available to users as a WWW tool, is described. The algorithm used to generate the darksisdescribed, alongwithadescriptionofhowtheIDLcodeanddatathatareusedin the WWW tool were incorporated into the usual HST pipeline model of code+reference files. This implementation necessitated the creation of a new reference file type: the Tem- perature-Dependent Dark (TDD) file. The design of this file type allowed many of the hardconstantstoberemovedfromthecodeandputintothereferencefiles, allowingmore convenient and flexible updating of the calibration parameters, if necessary.
