We present the difference in behavior of two transition region lines at
very close temperatures, observed with SUMER/SoHO. N v 1238.82 A shows a
series of explosive events with broadenings mostly shifted to the blue.
This is not seen in O v 629.73 A, the behavior of which remains "quiet"
throughout most of the time series.
