In 1979 and 1985 mutual phenomena of the Galilean satellites were observed during successful campaigns coordinated by the Bureau des Longitudes in Paris. A new campaign was planned for 1990 with the OCA/CERGA as one of the participants. Observations reported in this paper were carried out at Calern and Nice Observatories, generally in two or three wavelengths. The trends resulting from the varying atmospheric transmission have been removed from the raw data, prior to the photometric and astrometric reduction. We have estimated for 34 events the date of the mid-event along with its precision. We also derive a new and convenient procedure to assess quickly and reliably the astrometric precision.
