The Kilodegree Extremely Little Telescope (KELT) survey is a wide-field, small aperture transit survey of bright stars. The project objective is to discover transits of bright (8 < V < 10) stars suitable for intensive follow-up. The project has completed commissioning campaigns on the Hyades and Praesepe, and is well into a multi-year survey of a large portion of the Northern Hemisphere. I will present the results of our commissioning data, including both newly discovered variable stars and the best transit candidates. I will also present initial results from the main survey.
