An exact solution is obtained for the Cauchy problem for the general-relativistic kinetic equation on the background of the metric of a nonlinear plane gravitational field. Arbitrary reflection of gas particles from a boundary of arbitrary form is assumed. It is shown that the gas-boundary interaction necessarily leads to the generation of acoustic waves in the gravitational wave field.
