The general dynamical properties of continuous media are examined in the framework of Einstein-Cartan gravitation theory on the basis of a description of the geometry of the streamline congruences of the continuous medium. An equation for a space with torsion is derived which can be used to study singularities in gravitation theory. It is shown that the wake of the space-time torsion tensor can have a direct effect on the volumetric divergence of auto-parallels, while the pseudowake of the torsion can have a direct effect on the rotation of the streamline congruences. The proposed formalism is used to obtain the metric of a homogeneous rotating nonstationary cosmological model.
