Information on thermal structures and compositions of Saturn and Titan
atmospheres which can be retrieved from spectroscopy of the far
infrared, submillimeter, and microwave spectra emitted by these objects
is analyzed. The corresponding instrumentation proposed aboard the
Orbiter of the Cassini mission is described.
