We are engaged in a major survey of southern 2Jy radio sources with the Spitzer Space Telescope that is aimed at determining the dominant heating mechanism from the mid- to far-IR (MFIR) emitting dust in radio-loud AGN. An important part of this work is to determine the degree of contamination of the far-IR continuum by synchrotron-emitting components in the Spitzer beam. Therefore we propose to make 22GHz radio observations of all of the objects with delta < -25 degrees in our sample with ATCA, in order to determine the high frequency spectral indices of the core radio components.
