An analytic solution, in terms of expansion of a small parameter, for
the classical two-body tethered satellite with a specific drag model
(Danby, 1962) is obtained. The time of flight as well as the solution
regarding the state variable of the system are expressed in terms of
quadratures of the anomaly.
