Nucleosynthesis, Metal-Deficient Stars
Scientific paper
Our observations for metal-deficient stars with the Subaru Telescope discovered HE 1327-2326, the most iron-deficient star known, and revealed its detailed chemical composition. This observation has an impact on studies on nucleosynthesis by first generations of stars. A brief summary of the observation and recent discussions on the origin of this object are reported.
