A method for improving AES orbits from optical observations with non-accurate time moments is described. The orbital elements are proposed to be determined using the conditional equations, not depending on time errors, by the least-squares method. The equations depending on time errors are used to determine more accurate time moments. The rms errors are computed for the elements. As for the time, the lower limits for the rms errors are given. A numerical example illustrates the method, the results and the attainable accuracies.
