The authors present sensitive observations of the 18 cm OH radio lines in comet P/Crommelin performed with three radio telescopes (Nançay, Effelsberg, and Green Bank 140 ft). They derive OH production rates of the order of 1028molecules s-1. The observed line shapes suggest an anisotropic outgassing from the nucleus.
