The far side of the Moon offers unique advantages for performing radio astronomy at very low frequencies. The instrument that is proposed is an array of 300 independent receiving elements arranged in a spiralled-'Y' within an enclosing circle 40 km in diameter. This array is designed to perform all-sky surveys within the frequency range of 0.5 to 16 MHz with an angular resolution of at least 0.5 degrees. The mission can be completed within 5 years.
