Numerical simulations have been carried out of clusters of galaxies which separate out of the Hubble flow and collapse on their massive cores. Clusters of galaxies with strong concentration of mass in their cores can be very far from dynamical equilibrium during their early evolution. The virial mass excess (the ratio of the mass obtained by direct application of the virial theorem to the true mass of a cluster) is studied and found to have values as high as 20 after a Hubble time in certain types of clusters. Analytic expressions are given for the time evolution of various cluster parameters in core-dominated clusters.
