The influence of metallicity on the formation of WR stars is examined
for the M33 galaxy. The luminosity limit of red supergiants, which can
evolve to WR stars, is obtained. On the basis of this limit, the
existence of a gradient of the WR stars-to-red supergiants ratio with
galactocentric distance (Maeder et al. 1980) is confirmed.
