We explore the impact of different accretion disk structures on the profiles of double-peaked emission lines observed in Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN), and their variability. We create accretion disk emissivity functions for stochastic disk structures (clumpy disk and clumpy spiral arm) and compute the emission line profile that would be observed for such disks. We then compare the computed line profiles and their variability as the structure rotates to data collected over several decades.
