We report the detection of a photometric period of 3^h09^m23^s from the
optical counterpart of RX J1141.3-6410. The amplitude of the optical
modulation, Deltam~0.5 mag, and the period are consistent with the
suggestion that this is an AM Herculis star. Quasi-periodic oscillations
(QPOs) with time-scales in the range 20.0-42.1 min are also reported.
