Using the ROSAT All-Sky Survey Faint Source Catalogue (Voges et al. 2000, IAUC #7432), it was found that the ROSAT source 1RXS J175428.3-262035 is located at the edge of the INTEGRAL error circle of the new transient IGR J17544-2619 (ATEL #190). The PSPC position listed in the Catalogue is 17h54m28.30s, - -26 20' 35" (1 sigma error radius of 23") and the PSPC count rate of the source was 0.08+/-0.02 counts/s (0.1-2.4 keV).
