Attention is given to a catalog of 362 stars, distributed in a 4-deg band centered on the apparent path of Halley's comet, giving the stars' positions in the FK4 system. The catalog was the basis of navigational course corrections for five spacecraft that were sent to study the comet. Star positions in the catalog have an accuracy of at least 0.1 arcsec.
