Daily observations of solar global oscillations using a resonant scattering spectrometer have been obtained by observing integral sunlight during the summer seasons of the years 1977 to 1984. The power spectra of the daily residuals are calculated and the mean for each observing season is found. Several discrete frequency intervals are defined in the spectrum which yield information on the characteristics of the p-mode and noise levels. The power in these intervals and the cut-off frequency of the p-mode spectrum determined for each year, show no correlation with the solar activity cycle.
