The Sydney University Spectrophotometer SUSPECT is a fiber-fed low-dispersion instrument, developed to obtain stellar flux distributions. Little is known about the suitability of optical fibers to accurately measure spectral fluxes, therefore SUSPECT will investigate the photometric stability of fibers when attached to a small or medium sized telescope. Stellar fluxes will be combined with interferometric measurements to determine fundamental stellar properties, most importantly the effective temperature.
