Observations of the neighbor of the well-known Seyfert galaxy NGC 7469 - IC 5283 - have been carried out on the 2.6-m telescope of the Byurakan Observatory with H-alpha, forbidden NII 6584 A, and red continuum interference filters. Its comparative morphological investigation is done. Nitrogen abundance distribution in the galaxy is calculated by an empirical method on the basis of the forbidden NII/H-alpha ratio. The following results are obtained: the galaxy has two spiral arms in which star formation rate is different; nitrogen abundance gradient and continuum mean value are typical for late-type spirals; no azimuthal variations and variations along spiral arms of the nitrogen abundance are observed.
