Eight dwarf galaxies have been discovered in the NGC 5128 Group of galaxies. Most have low surface brightness, low luminosity and abundant neutral hydrogen. The dispersion around the Tully-Fisher relation between H I line width and optical luminosity increases for these faint galaxies. Star formation in dwarf irregular galaxies is briefly discussed. The NGC 5128 Group is at a mean distance of about 5 Mpc and is probably gravitationally bound. The dwarfs have only a small effect on the dynamics of the Group, but are good indicators of the velocity dispersion.
