The rotational populations of sulfur dioxide in OMC-1 have been probed
using four newly detected lines near 140 GHz. The populations have a
Boltzmann distribution and yield a rotational temperature of 68 + or - 4
K. The number of SO2 molecules in the small OMC-1 source is 1.2 x 10 to
the 51st.
