The stars numbered 1916 and 3371 in the catalog of Stephenson and Sanduleak are found to show the spectra characteristic of VV Cephei stars. The spectral types of the red components are M2Ib and M2Ia for LSS 1916 and LSS 3371, respectively. If the blue components are on the main sequence, then they are both of spectral type B0V. Both stars show weak forbidden Fe II and forbidden Fe III emission, and LSS 3371 shows forbidden O III 5007, H-beta, and H-alpha in emission as well. An analysis of the available UBV photometry indicates a distance of 2200 pc for LSS 1916, making it a probable member of the Car OBI association.
