A 512-channel digital autocorrelation spectrometer has been built by the authors. Two microcomputers are used in the system. The executive program supports the performances of the hardware of the system. An IBM personal computer works as a host computer. It provides operation interface for the user, and further processing of the data is also done here by running a basic spectral line analysis program.
