The Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA) observed the neutron star X-ray binary 4U 1608-522 during its new outburst (ATel. #851, #855), on July 13, at 4.8 and 8.6 GHz. The observations give no detections with 1-sigma rms of 77 microJy/beam (at 4.8 GHz), 64 microJy/beam (at 8.6 GHz) and of 49 microJy/beam (combining the dual-band observations). The Australia Telescope is funded by the Commonwealth of Australia for operation as a National Facility managed by CSIRO.
