Scientific paper
Photoelectric UBVR observations of the early-type eclipsing binary V454 Cyg during the period 1984-1987 are reported. Fluctuations exceeding measurement errors are observed on the light curves. Refined values of the period of the system are obtained. The photometric orbital elements of V454 Cyg are obtained with Lavrov's (1981) direct method. The ellipticity of the components is found to increase with increasing wavelength. Expected absolute parameters of the binary are given.
