A new algorithm for a stochastic approximation of visibility functions is proposed. In the case of high orbiting space VLBI, huge gaps on the (u,v)-plane occur in some VLBI observations. These gaps distort the quality of the synthesized images and their reliability due to phase uncertainties. This proposed approximation is a new algorithm called DARN. It provides a fast approximation for random, non-stationary, complex time series that can be considered values of the visibility function as defined on the (u,v)-plane. The suggested algorithm can work with high dimensional signals (up to a few millions of digital samples) and can provide faster data processing in comparison with traditional methods of interpolation and approximation. The algorithm was tested on real VLBI observations and provided higher quality images when compared with traditional procedures of VLBI imaging. Results from the data processing are demonstrated.
