We measured the strength of partially molten peridotites with melt
contents > 10%. For a sample of olivine + 25 vol% MORB deformed in
compression at 1498 K and 1523 K and 300 MPa, we calculated a viscosity
of 5 × 10^15 Pa-s for 1 mm olivine grains.
