The High Energy Stereoscopic System (H.E.S.S.) has observed the high-frequency peaked BL Lac object PKS 2155-304 (z=0.117) in Very High Energy (VHE) γ-rays (E>=160 GeV) with high significance ~34 sigma. The observations were carried out between October 19 and November 26, 2003 with a simultaneous coverage in X-ray, optical and radio bands, with the Proportional Counter Array (PCA) on board Rossi X-ray Timing Experiment (RXTE), the Robotic Optical Transient Search Experiment (ROTSE) and the Nançay Radio Telescope NRT respectively. Variability in the VHE regime is seen on intra-night timescales and in both the X-ray and the optical regime on ksec timescales. No evidence for correlation can be established between the X-ray and γ-ray fluxes or any of the other wave bands. Based on these variability studies we can estimate some source parameters such as the size of it and its Doppler boosting factor δ. Since the source has a non-negligible redshift the intrinsic VHE spectrum has been modified in shape and intensity due to absorption from Extragalactic Background Light (EBL). An estimation of the intrinsic VHE spectrum of the source is attempted based on three EBL models.
