ROSAT observations of the Mira AB system carried out using PSPC resulted in an unambiguous detection of Mira B at x-ray wavelengths. Coordinated observations were carried out using various techniques including IUE and speckle interferometry. We estimated the x-ray luminosity associated with the accretion component using several spectral models. Our results suggest that Mira B could be a main sequence star. The system was resolved using speckle observations and we determined the distance and the magnitude difference between the components.
