It is argued that relativistic gravitation theory (RGT) overcomes difficulties connected with general relativity (GR). The claim is made that RGT can explain the totality of gravitational observations and relevant experimental data, leading to new ideas about the evolution of the universe and gravitational collapse. It is maintained that RGT provides an antidote to the dogmatism of GR.
