In-flight Chandra calibration data for three stellar coronal sources are providing invaluable tests of our understanding of cool star coronae through the interpretation of their X-ray spectra. Procyon, Capella, and HR 1099 span the X-ray line-emitting temperatures ( ~ 106 -- 108 K). Early results confirm our ability to test that the simplifying assumptions of negligible optical depth and collisional ionization equilibrium are appropriate for these systems. Temperature, density, and abundance determinations are discussed in terms of a consistent picture of coronal active region conditions. Implications of Emission Line Project data analysis for other collisionally ionized sources are discussed. This work is supported by NASA contract NAS8-39073 to the Chandra X-ray Observatory Center.
