The proposal made by Y. K. Mao's (1998) seems to be very important to enlarge sky coverage for the accessible and possible terrain and geometric configuration of the main active surface. Under the assumption of fixed-illumination horn for effective aperture of 300 meters and suggested geometric parameters, the available aperture and required inclination (offset) of the horn in respect of the major axis of the simulated parabolic reflector are discussed by means of MathCAD. The investigation confirms the reasonableness of Mao's proposal and feasibility of quasi-elliptical illumination close to the edge of the main active surface.
