In the previous paper of this series we have shown that the photoemission of particles from a dust grain can produce a dynamical effect through a reaction force which can be of the order of the radiation pressure or even quite dominate it. We now reveal another consequence of the same effect which no longer accelerates the grain motion, but on the contrary brakes it, and can be important in the cases where the acceleration previously described is counterbalanced by other forces.
