Lambda Bootis Stars: Pulsations, Lambda Bootis Stars: Evolution

Scientific paper

The progress in the study of pulsation of the λ Boo stars is
summarized along with an evolutionary calculation which shows their
middle main-sequence lifetime. The future observations should focus on
the check of the two currently controversal theories through theoretical
pulsational calculations - asteroseismic investigations.
