The rotational motion of a rigid body satellite whose center of mass is
moving near the libration point L4 is studied using the Euler
parameters. The Hamiltonian form of the equations of motion is obtained,
and inherent difficulties of the problem (singularities, triaxial
complexity, etc) do not appear.
