This note summarizes the visual observation of Halley's comet from a small observatory comprising a 20 cm reflecting telescope throughout 1985 - 86 apparition. An attempt has been made to recognize the modern understanding on the structure, the physical processes and physical nature of cometary nuclei and the changes that occur depending upon time and position on the basis of the visual observation. A discussion of the visual observation vis-a-vis 1910 apparition has been attempted.
