A preliminary analysis of the pre-perihelion photoelectric measurements of P/Halley obtained at the Skalnaté Pleso Observatory is presented. The measurements were carried out with the IHW filters in 11 nights between Nov 8, 1985 and Jan 5, 1986. A set of focal diaphragms was used. The variations of the extinction coefficients, the dependence of the magnitude upon the diameter of focal diaphragm, coma diameters and total brightness in the CN and C3 emissions are determined.
